Metodo 3
SPHERE OF OPERATION

The “conflict of interest policy” (hereinafter, Policy) is based on the “Internal Code of Conduct” (hereinafter, the Code) and it is applicable when a member of Método 3 has economic or personal relationships that have an inappropriate (detrimental or biasing) influence on the investigations concerning a third party.

The potential conflict of interest may exist despite the fact that an individual believes that the relationship does not have any effect.

Moreover, there may be a conflict of interest with clients (the client is understood to be the party contracting Método 3 whose name appears in the police book located on the premises of the company and not the party that settles the invoice) when “simultaneously or successively advising, sponsoring or representing parties who have opposing interests, notwithstanding the fact that Método 3 may, with the consent of all parties, take actions that redound to the benefit of all”.

The opposition of interests may be simultaneous or successive. The essential factor, in all cases, is that the detective cannot accept the second verbal hiring mandate or offer advisory services without entering into contradiction with the advice which was offered in the first instance or which is being offered at the present time, because the client has, of necessity, been a confidant of Método 3.
