Dear Friends,

Christmas has come around once again and, at the beginning of 2007, we will celebrate our 21st anniversary as a company.

This year, after Antonio de Felipe (some of whose work is exhibited at the Museo Reina Sofía), Philip Stanton (Palau Robert and Sagrada Familia) and Pablo Maeso (the contemporary Hopper), we are pleased to present Didier Lourenço to you.

Lourenço is practically the only Spanish figurative artist who is considered to be a best-selling artist in New York.

Didier, whose last exhibition was at Art Expo - Winn Devon in New York, offers us works in which the light and the colour, together with his creative audacity, “have deservedly proved popular with the public,” according to the prestigious critic, Josep M. Cadena.

In this work, Didier allows us to contemplate an everyday scene with a woman, who is almost hidden and being watched, as if by a detective. If you have the opportunity to visit one of his exhibitions, do not think twice. As the years go by, you will recall that when your friends at Método 3 sent you a Christmas greeting, they introduced him to you as an artist and a friend.

Merry Christmas!

Marita Fernández Lado

In his oeuvre, Didier Lourenço extols the pleasures to be derived from quiet leisure, the relaxing journey and contemplation of the landscape; this landscape was assimilated some time ago, because it forms part of one’s own environment.
