Communication Francisco Marco Fernández - Bibliography
The business of prevention in business

Prevention is not generally found in any great abundance in companies, and then they may pay dearly for this. Moreover, when people talk about prevention, few of them think of a detective agency. In this entertaining story about a corporate detective, which is at once fictitious and true to life, we are invited to follow the adventures of the detective Julio Santiago through the offices of the most influential companies in Spain. However, before long, he himself falls victim to his own lack of foresight when the crisis strikes and takes him by surprise. From this experience he learns some important lessons that prove to be as valuable for his detective agency as they are for his present and future clients.

Drawing on the style of a detective novel, with respectful nods to masters of the genre such as Vázquez Montalbán, the author succeeds in entertaining the reader as he portrays both the funniest and the darkest side of corporate detectives.

Francisco Marco Fernández is a Doctor of Criminal Law, with a Master’s in corporation law. He is a lawyer and a private detective.

For 25 years, Francisco Marco has been the director of the largest detective agency in Spain, Método 3, famous for the role it has played in some of the best-known cases in Spain during the last ten years: the Forum Filatélico, Malaya, Intervida, Madeleine McCann and Paesa.

He is the author of the first annotated Private Security Code and the books entitled “El Control en la Empresa” (“Control in the Company”) and “Intervida: el complot contra la ONG” (“Intervida: the conspiracy against the NGO”). He has also written a wealth of articles about private detectives and their legal status.
